This table breaks convention with its deliberately mismatched base design, pairing two entirely different sculptural forms to support a single sleek oval tabletop. At one end, a smooth, rounded sphere base sits solidly on the floor, its soft curves offering a grounded, organic anchor. At the other end, an angular arched form rises instead, its negative-space cutout creating an entirely different visual rhythm from the sphere opposite it. Both bases share the same warm, sandy neutral finish, unifying the design despite their contrasting shapes, and allowing the dramatic black marble top above to read as the clear focal point. The tabletop itself is a rich, glossy black stone with fine white veining running throughout, its long oval shape and rounded ends softening the boldness of the asymmetric base below. This playful mixing of sculptural forms gives the piece a genuinely artistic, gallery-inspired quality, standing apart from more conventional single-pedestal or four-legged table designs. Well suited to a statement dining table, an oversized coffee table, or a console in a design-forward space, this piece rewards viewing from multiple angles, revealing a different silhouette depending on where you stand. In Feng Shui, a table with two distinct supporting forms can be seen as representing balance between different kinds of energy — grounded stability on one side, dynamic movement on the other — brought together in harmony by the unifying surface above.
