Gear-driven table clock

This desk clock is as much a kinetic sculpture as it is a timepiece. Suspended within a golden gyroscope ring, the round clock face can be tilted and angled at will, catching the light from every side. At its heart sits an exposed skeleton movement, its fine gears and jeweled details visible around a luminous mother-of-pearl medallion — a nod to the watchmaker's art rendered at desk scale. The crisp white dial, framed in black enamel with bold gold numerals, offers clean legibility against the ornamental frame. Below, the gyroscope rests on a lathe-turned brass stem that flares into a gleaming bell-shaped base, lending the whole piece a sense of ceremony and weight. In Feng Shui, a clock placed in the wealth or career corner of a room is believed to keep energy — and fortune — in steady motion; the bell shape further echoes traditions of resonance and auspicious sound, said to clear stagnant energy and invite prosperity into the home. Equally suited to a study desk, mantel, or entryway console, this piece brings old-world craftsmanship and quiet luxury to any space.
